PMO Publishes Ninth Volume of 'Meskerem to Meskerem' Book Series

Addis Ababa, November 7, 2026 (ENA)—The Office of the Prime Minister (PMO) has published the ninth volume of its annual book series, Meskerem to Meskerem, which documents Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed's speeches and messages from Meskerem 2018 (September 2025) to Meskerem 2019 (September 2026).

The title refers to the Ethiopian calendar year. Each Ethiopian year begins in Meskerem, the first month, around September 11, and ends in early September of the following year. The phrase "Meskerem to Meskerem" therefore covers one full calendar year.

The book records the Prime Minister's addresses at a range of events and national celebrations. It highlights Ethiopia's progress in national transformation, development, economic growth, national dignity, and international cooperation.

According to the PMO, the volume shows how the country is turning its vision and commitments into concrete development results. It also preserves key messages and milestones for future generations.

In its social media post, the PMO said: "Words reveal a vision, while actions turn that vision into reality. Preserving the speeches, messages, and historical events of leaders is a vital way to pass down a nation's journey of transformation and history to future generations."

The ninth volume is part of an annual series that the PMO prepares to document Ethiopia's transformation through the Prime Minister's speeches and messages.
