"Tsimdo" Baseless Entity Built on Deception: PM Advisor Getachew Reda 

Addis Ababa, October 22, 2026 (ENA) —The so-called Tsimdo has demonstrated that its is a baseless semblance of a group with the objective of misleading the public through  campaign of orchestrated propaganda, Getachew Reda, East African Affairs Advisor to the Prime Minister said.

While addressing a high-level policy forum held under the theme, "Unity or treason? Anti-Ethiopia Coalition: Where to?" today, he noted that Tsimdo is a group that has no organized capability.

It is formed to mislead the public by perpetuating propaganda, he stressed.

He described the group as a disorganized semblance whose operations are confined to the dissemination of deceptive narratives intended to sow confusion among the populace.

The Advisor further explained that the alignment the illegal TPLF forms with various armed factions such as Fano and Shene as well other groups is in particular an alliance based on hatred and other interests.  

The federal government’s stance on the other hand is aimed at protecting strategic  national interests and minimizing unnecessary damages.
The forum  jointly organized by the Ethiopian National Defense College and the Institute of Foreign Affairs.
