ADDIS ABABA, Sept. 4, 2026 (ENA) — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has extended warm congratulations to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, praising her leadership for bringing "unprecedented stability" to Italy and strengthening the long-standing partnership between the two nations.

In a message shared on his X page, PM Abiy wrote: "My dear friend Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, on behalf of the Government and people of Ethiopia, I extend my warmest congratulations to you, as your administration achieves a truly historic milestone.
