Prime Minister Abiy Discusses Bilateral Ties with Somali President

Addis Ababa, June 29, 2026 (ENA)—Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held bilateral discussions today with President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia to strengthen economic ties, security, and regional stability.

The meeting reaffirmed the longstanding relationship between Ethiopia and Somalia, with both leaders emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation founded on mutual trust, respect, and shared interests.
