Prime Minister Abiy Holds Talks with Saudi Foreign Minister

Addis Ababa, February 11, 2026 (ENA)—Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed today received His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for wide-ranging and productive discussions on bilateral and multilateral issues of mutual interest.

The meeting focused on further strengthening the longstanding relations between Ethiopia and Saudi Arabia, expanding cooperation across key strategic sectors, and enhancing coordination on regional and global developments.

“Our talks focused on strengthening the longstanding ties between our two countries, expanding cooperation across key sectors, and enhancing coordination on regional and global matters of mutual interest,” Prime Minister Abiy shared on his social media channels.

The discussions reaffirmed both countries’ commitment to deepening their partnership and working closely on issues of shared priority.
