Under the resounding theme, "Ethiopia Towards an Exemplary Nation!", the party revealed a sheaf of wheat as its chosen electoral symbol.

This emblem is deeply rooted in the party's core philosophy of Medemer, symbolizing a harmonious blend of unity, collaboration, and collective strength.

Beyond its representation of synergy, the sheaf of wheat serves as a profound testament to the party’s commitment to productivity and sustainable prosperity, reflecting a vision where the nation’s potential is harvested through hard work and a balanced exercise of power.

The sheaf of wheat also meant to be blessing, balance of power, productivity and prosperity.

The ceremony was graced by high-ranking PP officials, including Prosperity Party Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, Temesgen Tiruneh, Vice President of Ethiopia’s ruling Prosperity Party and Head of the Democratic System Building Center at the rank of Deputy Prime Minister, Adem Farah.

Senior party leaders and distinguished guests gathered to witness the unveiling of the roadmap that will guide the party’s engagement with the Ethiopian people in the months ahead.

This launch comes as the nation prepares for the 7th General Election, which the National Election Board of Ethiopia has officially scheduled for June 1, 2026.

The Board has been diligently laying the groundwork to ensure the electoral process is both credible and inclusive.

Furthermore, political parties have received specialized training to better publicize their programs to the public.

In a move toward modernization, candidate and observer registration will be facilitated through newly developed software, while voter registration will be conducted through both digital and manual systems to ensure comprehensive accessibility.
