Located in the Somali Regional State, the Aysha-II project possesses a total generation capacity of 120 MW.
The first phase, capable of producing 80 MW, officially commenced operations today.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, President Mohamud extended his congratulations to the Ethiopian people and government for their successes across various development sectors.
He noted that Ethiopia continues to register extraordinary achievements through the implementation of massive infrastructure projects.
