Singapore’s Prime Minister Wong Lays Wreath at Adwa Victory Memorial

Addis Ababa, November 24, 2025 (ENA)—Singapore’s Prime Minister, Lawrence Wong laid a wreath at Adwa Victory Memorial to honor the Ethiopians heroes/heroines who paid the ultimate price at the Battle of Adwa in defense of their country.

Prime Minister Wong visited the Adwa Victory Memorial, a landmark victory monument and a source of pride for the entire Black People worldwide.

Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abiebie posted on her social media post, stating that she warmly welcomed Prime Minister Lawrence and gave him an official tour of the historic site.

The Mayor also expressed her best wishes for Prime Minister Lawrence, hoping he would have a pleasant stay in the Land of Origins, Ethiopia, and its beautiful capital, Addis Ababa.

Prime Minister Lawrence arrived in Addis Ababa last night for an official visit to Ethiopia.
