Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Holds Fruitful Discussion with President Tayyib Erdoğan of Türkiye

Addis Ababa, November 22, 2025 (ENA)- Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed stated that he had productive meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye on a range of issues, including economic and cultural partnerships, sustainable development, and cooperation on climate action, according to his social media post.

“We have had a successful discussion with the president of Turkey Tayyib Erdoğan on various areas including economy, cultural friendship, sustainable development, climate protection works,” Prime Minister Abiy added.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed made a statement at the G20 Leaders’ Summit 2025 in South Africa today.

He emphasized on three core priorities for Ethiopia in the global context: debt relief, climate action, and energy transformation.
