Addis Ababa, Kuala Lumpur Sign Sister City Cooperation MoU

Addis Ababa, November 19, 2025 (ENA) - The cities of Addis Ababa and Kuala Lumpur have signed a sister city cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Mayor Adanech Abiebie disclosed.

The Mayor announced that the agreement was signed between the Addis Ababa City Administration and the Malaysian city of Kuala Lumpur to foster sisterly cooperation.

In a message posted on her social media page, Mayor Adanech stated that the MoU was signed in the presence of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and the Prime Minister of the Federation of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim.
