Ethiopia, Cyprus Sign MoU to Bolster Bilateral Ties

Addis Ababa, October 8, 2025 (ENA) --- Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gedion Timothewos, held a bilateral meeting with his counterpart from the Republic of Cyprus, Constantinos Kombos this evening.

During their meeting, the ministers discussed areas of mutual interest and explored opportunities to enhance cooperation on various fields.

Following their meeting, the ministers signed a Memoranda of understanding (MoUs) on political consultation, education, and higher education and research, according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The signing of the MoUs marks a step forward in expanding the diplomatic engagement and fostering long-term partnerships between Ethiopia and Cyprus.
