PM Abiy, President Putin Hold Comprehensive Discussions on Various Sectors

Addis Ababa, September 26, 2025 (ENA) -- Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held a comprehensive discussion with President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation on various sectors, including energy, agriculture, healthcare development, and defense cooperation.

Notably, the two leaders deliberated on shared interests, including the signing of agreements to jointly develop a nuclear power plant to provide clean energy for societal benefit.

Prime Minister Aby is in Moscow to participate in the international forum World Atomic Week, the largest event dedicated to the nuclear sector and related industries.
