PM Abiy in Moscow to Attend World Atomic Week Conference  

Addis Ababa, September 25, 2025 (ENA) -- Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed is currently attending the World Atomic Week conference in Moscow, Russia.

The international forum World Atomic Week, the largest event dedicated to the nuclear sector and related industries, commenced today in Moscow.

The event, timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the Russian nuclear industry, is being held at Moscow's Exhibition of National Economy Achievements (VDNH).

Representatives from more than 100 countries and over 10,000 visitors are expected to attend the event.

Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy is also in Moscow to attend the conference.

On the sidelines of the event, the premier met with the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Mariano Grossi.
