PM Abiy Confers with President João Lourenço of Angola

Addis Ababa, September 7, 2025 (ENA) -- Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has today conferred with President João Lourenço of the Republic of Angola and Chair of the African Union on the sidelines of the second Africa-CARICOM Summit in Addis Ababa.

“On the sidelines of the second Africa-CARICOM Summit I had the opportunity to meet with President João Lourenço of the Republic of Angola and Chair of the African Union for a bilateral discussion on our shared interest as well as regional matters. Our mutual commitment to continental progress remains firm,” the premier posted on social media.
