Heads of States and Government Depart Addis Ababa Following Successful Conclusion of UNFSS+4

Addis Ababa, July 29, 2025 (ENA)—Heads of State and Government who participated in the Second United Nations Food Systems Summit Stocktaking Moment (UNFSS+4) in Addis Ababa have concluded their engagements and departed for their respective countries, marking the end of a landmark global gathering on food systems transformation.

The Presidents of Kenya, Somalia, and Comoros departed following the completion of their official programs.

The dignitaries were accorded official courtesies at Bole International Airport upon departure.

The three-day Second United Nations Food Systems Summit Stocktaking Moment (UNFSS+4) was held in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, bringing together Heads of State from several countries and delegations from international organizations.


Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, along with other African and global leaders, underscored the urgent need to transform the global food system in their addresses during the summit.
