Ethiopia, India Keen to Further Bolster their Bilateral Relations

Addis Ababa, May 31, 2025 (ENA)— Ethiopia expressed its commitment to elevating its relations with India, Adem Farah, Head of the Democracy System Building Coordination Center and Vice President of the Prosperity Party (PP) with the rank of Deputy Prime Minister said.

Adem Farah made the remark while conferring with a delegation led by a member of Indian Parliament Supriya Sule at his office today.

 The discussions with the members of the Indian Parliamentary delegation focused on ways of strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries, Adem added.


 

 Ethiopia has long-standing relations with India, it was learnt.

 Ethiopia and India enjoyed long-standing relationships in the fields of education, health, investment, and peace, he stated, reaffirming Ethiopia’s commitment to further elevate these ties to a higher-level forging mutual partnership.

 Adem added the emphasis on investment, education, health, and peace reflects a comprehensive approach to fostering a robust and enduring bilateral relationship.


 

 Ethiopia has created a conducive environment for investment across all sectors, he said.

 Supriya Sule on her part expressed India’s keen interest in strengthening its partnership with Ethiopia based on collaboration and shared interest between the two countries.
