AUC Chairperson Pays Courtesy Call on Mayor of Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, May 27, 2025 (ENA)— The Chairperson of African Union Commission, Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, has paid a courtesy call on the Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie, today.

The chairperson commended her for the city's transformation and conveyed the gratitude to the host city of the African Union (AU), according to AU.

He reaffirmed his commitment to deepening ties, noting Addis Ababa's potential to share its experiences with other African cities.

 

On her part, the Mayor congratulated the Chairperson on his election and reiterated her readiness to further strengthen cooperation with the AUC for the benefit of both the city and the continent.
