PM Abiy Meets with CEO of  Webuild Group  in Rome

Addis Ababa, May 26, 2025 (ENA) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed met with Pietro Salini, CEO of Webuild_Group in Rome to discuss the progress of the national mega projects they have been involved in constructing.

With the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam — the pride of our nation and Africa — nearing completion in the coming months, and the accelerated progress of the Koysha Dam, Salini’s partnership has been instrumental in advancing our national objectives, the premier said on social media post today.

 

“Our conversation focused on current project milestones, strategies for expediting delivery, and ensuring that sustainability and innovation remain at the heart of implementation,” Abiy said.

He further stated that this engagement reflects our shared commitment to delivering transformative projects that drive economic growth and support long-term national development.
