Ethiopia, Israel Pledge to Strengthen Historic Ties

Addis Ababa, May 5, 2025 (ENA) – Ethiopian Minister of Foreign Affairs Gedion Timothewos held high-level talks with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, marking a significant step in reinforcing diplomatic relations between the two nations.
During their diplomatic engagement, both ministers conducted comprehensive discussions on strengthening bilateral cooperation and addressing shared regional and international concerns.
The meeting underscored the historic friendship between Ethiopia and Israel.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, Gideon Saar, arrived in Addis Ababa today for an official working visit to Ethiopia.
During his visit, FM Saar is expected to hold talks with senior Ethiopian government officials on ways of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
