Ethiopian Aviation University Graduates 974 Professionals in Aviation, Hospitality

Addis Ababa, May 3, 2025 (ENA) -- Ethiopian Aviation University today celebrated the graduation of 974 aviation and hospitality professionals in a ceremony attended by a wide array of dignitaries.
Of the total graduates, 360 are males, while the majority, 614, is females.
The graduates completed rigorous training across key aviation and hospitality fields, including 184 in Aircraft Maintenance, 43 in Pilot Training, 448 in Cabin Crew, 255 in Commercial Operations, and 44 in Hotel Operations.
Reflecting Ethiopian Airlines' extensive pan-African reach and global partnerships, the graduating class showcases a diverse array of nationalities, including 38 Chinese, 34 Congolese, 19 Mozambicans, 8 Cameroonians, 2 Gabonese, and one each from Zambia, South Sudan, Uganda, and Sierra Leone.
This milestone underscores Ethiopian Airlines' pivotal role in shaping the future of African aviation by developing skilled professionals across the continent.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Mesfin Tasew stated, "We are immensely proud to see our students graduate today, having successfully completed their training and demonstrated remarkable academic achievements”.
The CEO expressed his confidence that these graduates will carry this success into their future careers, leveraging the diverse resources gained from this esteemed university, equipped with cutting-edge technologies and staffed by seasoned aviation professionals.
He also emphasized that Ethiopian Aviation University will continue to be a center of aviation excellence, serving the continent, the region, and beyond.
