Ethiopia, Netherlands Discuss ways of Further Strengthening Bilateral Ties

Addis Ababa, April 9, 2025 (ENA) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gedion Timothewos, received the Ambassador of The Netherlands to Ethiopia, Ambassador Christine Pirenne, at his office.

The two sides discussed ways of further strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

 

On the occasion, the Minister noted the ongoing macroeconomic reforms in Ethiopia and called on Dutch companies to invest in the country.

He also briefed the Ambassador on the progress of the implementation of the Pretoria Peace Agreement.

They also exchanged views on aspects of regional peace and security, according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
