PM Abiy Says Addis Int’I Convention Center Latest Addition to Ethiopia’s Efforts to Strengthen MICE  

Addis Ababa, February 28, 2025 (ENA) --- The Addis International Convention Center is the latest addition to Ethiopia’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector, Prime Minister Abiy remarked on social media post today.

As a world-class venue, it plays a crucial role in attracting international events, fostering business tourism, and positioning the country as a premier destination for global gatherings, the premier added.

This state-of-the-art facility is now ready to host a wide range of both national and international events, exhibitions, and conferences.

The Convention Center, which is built on an area of over 40 hectares, can accommodate 10,000 people at a time.

It also has two large halls, each able to accommodate 4,000 people, while eight other halls accommodate from 100 to 1,000 people each, depending on the size of the room.
