PM Abiy Holds Candid, Productive Discussion with Deputy Prime Minister of UK

Addis Ababa, January 17, 2025 (ENA)—Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed had a candid and productive discussion with Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (UK), Angela Rayner on key bilateral and multilateral issues.

 In a social media post, the Prime Minister revealed that Ethiopia and the UK share a long history and deep ties, and her visit further strengthens this relationship.

 “Today, I had a candid and productive discussion with Angela Rayner, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, on key bilateral and multilateral issues” the Premier stated.

 He added as we look ahead, our partnership will continue to evolve, expanding beyond politics and diplomacy to include greater business and economic collaboration.
