President Taye Reiterates Ethiopia's Commitment to Strengthening African Unity, Collaboration

Addis Ababa, February 12, 2025 (ENA) ---Delegates attending the 46th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union had the opportunity to immerse themselves in Ethiopia's diverse offerings during a tour of the "Explore Ethiopia" exhibition at the Addis International Convention Center and were served with a presidential Banquet today.
The exhibition showcased the nation's rich resources and potential across various sectors, including agriculture, industry, mining, and tourism.
A highlight of the tourism section was the display of the hominin skeleton "Lucy," a testament to Ethiopia's significance in human history.
Following the exhibition tour, attendees were hosted at a presidential Banquet at the hall of the Addis International Convention Center.
The center, a state-of-the-art facility, is poised to become a leading venue for national and international events, exhibitions, and conferences.
Speaking at the event organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President Taye Atske Selassie emphasized the importance of the center in facilitating crucial events that foster partnerships and advance shared goals.
He reiterated Ethiopia's commitment to strengthening African unity and collaboration, particularly in the face of weakening multilateralism and evolving geopolitical dynamics.
President Taye also expressed his appreciation for the outgoing African Union Commission Chairperson's dedicated service to the cause of the continent.
