What Activities Are Underway in the South West Ethiopia Peoples’ Region Corridor Development?

* In the region, corridor development efforts have focused on maintaining cities’ master plans with efforts to ensure legal compliance underway

 

* Pedestrian roads and bike lanes construction

* Drainage systems, green recreational areas, and water, electricity, and telecommunication infrastructure to be developed

* Initiatives to enhance food security, such as vegetable and livestock production, poultry farming, and dairy herding, are underway as part of the Region’s Rural Corridor Development efforts

* Programs launched to improve sanitation and hygiene at the household level.
