Ethiopian News Agency's Efforts Lauded by Delegates from S. Sudan's Ruling Party to be African Voice

Addis Ababa February 3, 2025 (ENA)—Delegates from S. Sudan's Ruling party have lauded the Ethiopian News Agency (ENA)'s efforts to become the true voice of Africa.
Attending the second Prosperity Party congress, the delegation of Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) Secretary-General Peter Lam Both also visited the headquarters of ENA, in the early hours of this afternoon.
Seife Derebe, Chief Executive Officer of Ethiopian News Agency together with the agency’s senior management members briefed the delegates on the rigorous transformation endeavors that ENA has been undergoing.
The delegates have witnessed ENA's cutting edge media facility that encompasses three TV and four radio studios outfitted with state-of-the-art editing and recording equipment.
Secretary-General Peter Lam Both expressed his impression on media facilities of the agency.
Currently, the Ethiopian News Agency has embarked on the creation of a digital transcontinental digital media outlet named POA (Pulse of Africa) to become an African-oriented media.
POA is highly anticipated to become the true voice of Africa by correcting the distorted narratives against the image of Africa and promoting the true version of the continent.
Following their visit to the media initiatives and the massive works have been done to meet the expectation of the audience, Delegates from South Sudan's ruling party praised the journey of the Ethiopian News Agency.
Particularly, Secretary General of South Sudanese ruling party, SPLM, Peter Lam Both commended such efforts.
