President Taye  in  Nairobi  to Attend a High-Level Event on AU Institutional Reforms

Addis Ababa  January 27/2025 (ENA)— President Taye Atske Selassie is in Kenya Nairobi to attend a High-Level Event on African Union (AU) Institutional Reforms.

Up on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport,  President Taye Atske Selassie, is welcomed by Hon. Lee Kinyanjui, Cabinet Secretary for Investments, Trade and Industry, Amb. Demeke Atnafu and Ethiopian Diplomats based in Nairobi.

Hosted by Kenya’s President William Ruto, the event will focus on African Union's institutions reforms, including sustainable financing and restructuring its operations, strengthening the AU's capacity to address continental challenges and achieve its objectives.

It is to be recalled that President William Samoei Ruto was appointed as the AU champion for Institutional Reforms in February 2024.
