PM Abiy Highlights Immense Potential of Shabeely Project in Ethiopia's Somali Region

Addis Ababa January 4|2025 (ENA)—The Shabeely project, which is part of the Dine Initiative in the Somali region, covering 380 hectares, has immense potential for future expansion, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed revealed.  

“No matter which corner of our country we visit, we are met with boundless opportunities and hope,” the premier said.

He further stated that Ethiopia is on the rise, with remarkable developments unfolding across various sectors despite occasional setbacks.

“Our collective progress depends on maintaining peace, as it is the foundation upon which sustainable growth and prosperity are built. Let us safeguard this peace to ensure a brighter future for generations to come.”  PM Abiy underscored.
