Deputy PM Reaffirms Government’s Commitment for Vibrant Media Landscape

Addis Ababa January 4|2025 (ENA) —Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh has emphasized the importance of a vibrant media landscape in Ethiopia as the government recognizes it.

The Deputy Prime Minister stated that the media holds incredible potential to play a pivotal role in building a strong and united nation by amplifying collective capabilities.

Temesgen visited Fana Media Corporation, born from the recent merger of Fana Broadcasting Corporation and Walta Media and Communication Corporation.

In a social media post, the Deputy Prime Minister further revealed that as a government, we recognize the importance of a vibrant media landscape.

 He also reaffirmed the government’s support to continue to ensure that the media institutions  like Fana Media Corporation thrive in their mission to inform, educate, and inspire.
