Ethiopia Continues to Welcome World Leaders to Its Ever-transforming Capital

Addis Ababa December 22/2024 (ENA)—As a hospitable nation, Ethiopia continues to welcome world leaders to its ever-transforming capital, Office of the Prime Minister (PMO) underscored.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed hosted French President Emmanuel Macron yesterday at the newly restored National Palace, showcasing its rich heritage.

The two leaders discussed a range of bilateral and multilateral issues.

 

In his social media post, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said that “In our bilateral talks with President Emmanuel Macron at the National Palace, we addressed a range of bilateral and multilateral issues.”

He also expressed his appreciation for President Emmanuel Macron and the French government’s support in the renovation of the National Palace and the ongoing restoration of rock hewn churches of Lalibela.

Finally, they gave a joint press conference at the stunning and newly resorted Ethiopia’s National Place in the capital Addis Ababa last night.
