Statement by Ethiopian Airlines

 

Addis Ababa December 14/2024 (ENA)  Ethiopian Airlines flight ET 612 from Addis Ababa to Dubai experienced a technical issue approximately 30 minutes after takeoff on December 14, 2024. As a precautionary measure, the aircraft returned to Addis Ababa and landed safely.

For safety reason, all passengers and crew evacuated the aircraft saely following the standard emergency procedure.

The safety and well-being of our passengers and crew remain our highest priority.

We sincerely apologize to our esteemed passengers for the inconvenience caused. We commend our crew for handling the incident professionally.

The technical issue is currently under investigation.
