Foreign Tourists Excited by Lalibela's Rock-Hewn Churches

 

Addis Ababa December 12/2024 (ENA)—Foreign tourists visiting the iconic Rock-Hewn Churches of Lalibela have expressed their awesome excitement about their visits.

Speaking to ENA, the Polish tourists shared the enthusiasm they experienced in Lalibela.

 The Rock-Hewn Churches, located in Ethiopia's Amhara region, are a major tourist attraction that draw thousands of domestic and international visitors daily.


 The Polish tourists expressed deep appreciation for the warm hospitality of the Ethiopian people, as well as the country's rich cultural heritage and historical significance.

 “My name is Peter, and I am from Poland. Ethiopia is a beautiful country, and Lalibela is a wonderful place. The people here are truly nice,” Peter emphasized.

 The other tourist said, “We came here to visit and fell in love with Ethiopia more than we expected. Everything we saw captivated us.”He shared his astonishment at the scenery and the hospitality of the people.

“The architecture of the Lalibela churches is incredible, and the local people are equally wonderful. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your warm welcome,” he said.

 The tourists noted that the people of Ethiopia are extremely hospitable and friendly, encouraging all travelers worldwide to experience the beauty of Ethiopia.


 

 They expressed gratitude to the local community for the exceptional hospitality they received during their stay in Lalibela, highlighting the unique kindness, vibrant culture, and historical treasures that await those who choose to visit.
