Ethiopian Airlines Resumes Passenger Flights to Monrovia
Addis Ababa November 30/2024 (ENA)Ethiopian Airlines has resumed passenger flights to Monrovia, Liberia, starting this morning today.
The flights to Monrovia was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, it was learnt.
The inaugural flight ceremony was graced by Liberia's Transport Minister Sirleaf Tyler, Liberian Ambassador to Ethiopia Louise Sharene and Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Mesfin Tassew and other invited guests.
The resumption of flights will be three times a week and will facilitate smoother travel, promote people-to-people ties, bolster economic growth, and strengthen the relationship between Ethiopia and Liberia.
