Ethiopian Airline Singapore Hub Pivotal in Connecting Africa to Asia, & Europe: Regional Manager

Addis Ababa November 7/2024(ENA)- Ethiopian Airlines plays a crucial role in connecting Africa to Asia and Europe through Singapore, serving as a key facilitator of trade, travel, and cultural exchange, said Telila Dheresa, Regional Manager of Ethiopian Airlines for Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. 

At an event held in Singapore on Wednesday evening, Ethiopian Airlines Singapore office recognized the top ten travel and cargo agents for their outstanding contributions. 

The Regional Manager said  we have recognized all those who have a role or who are stakeholders in our success in Singapore. 

 

He emphasized these agents have played a significant role in advancing travel, cargo services, tourism, and socio-economic activities by streamlining travel arrangements. 

Moreover, he added the Singapore route turned out to be very profitable, and one of the best routes in Asia. 

"This could never happen without our partner support as we celebrate our own success, we have to also appreciate those who support us," Telila stated. 

He expressed his gratitude to the agents for their remarkable contributions to the growth of travel and cargo services. 

Moreover, he added that Ethiopian Airlines offers direct flights between Addis Ababa and Singapore, improving connectivity and facilitating travel for business, tourism, and cultural exchanges. 

The airline also provides comprehensive air freight services that connect African goods to Asian and European markets via Singapore, while facilitating imports in the reverse direction.
