PM Abiy Meets with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian

Addis Ababa October 23/2024 (ENA)-Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed met today with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to discuss bilateral and regional issues.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed is attending the BRICS Summit in Kazan, Russia, being underway from 22 to 24 October, 2024 under the motto "Strengthening Multilateralism for Equitable Global Development and Security."

“This morning I met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian for a discussion on bilateral and regional issues. During our meetings I expressed that Ethiopia stands ready to support de-escalate tensions in the Middle East,” Abiy posted on his social media.
