Pakistani Investors Sign MoU to Produce Export-standard Sports Apparel in Ethiopia 

Addis Ababa, May 30/2024 (ENA) Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pakistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ethiopian Investment Commission to produce export-standard sports apparel in Ethiopia.

The President of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdul Ghafoor and Commissioner of Ethiopian Investment Commission, Hanna Arayaselassie signed the MOU.

Ethiopia's Ambassador to Pakistan and Pakistan's ambassador to Ethiopia and the African Union attended the signing ceremony. 

 

The event showcased the commitment to enhancing bilateral trade and investment relations between the two countries.

A Pakistani business delegation that comprised of more than 80 investors is in Ethiopia to explore investment opportunities in the country. 

The visit of the delegation is believed to strengthen bilateral economic ties between Ethiopia and Pakistan.
