Ethiopia, Turkiye Hold Political Consultation to Bolster Ties

Addis Ababa, May 30/2024 (ENA) Ethiopia and Turkiye held the 7th Political Consultation today and they explored new cooperation on bilateral, regional and multilateral venues of mutual interest. 

The discussion was led by State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Mesganu Arga and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkiye, Prof. Burhanettin Duran.

Both parties noted that Ethiopia and Turkyie's political and economic collaboration needed to be further strengthened, according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The implementation of several trade and investment agreements between the two sides was also assessed during the session.
