Ethiopian Airlines to Begin Flight to Nekemte by Mid June

Addis Ababa, May 26/2024 (ENA) The Ethiopian Airlines Group announced that it will begin flights to Nekmete town, Oromia Regional state by 17 June, 2024.

Recall Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held discussions with inhabitants  drawn from four zones in Nekemte where he told them that the government was committed to addressing  the various development and social needs of the society.

The Ethiopian Airlines has been carrying out activities to begin the flights.

Commercial Sector Executive Officer of the Ethiopian Airlines Group, Lemma Yadecha told ENA that the airlines is working to meet the growing needs of domestic customers.

The flights will be four times a week, he said.

In addition to expanding international destinations, the Ethiopian Airlines Group is actively engaged in expanding local destinations.

Ethiopian is covering over 136 international and 22 domestic destinations by operating 144 airplanes.
