PM Abiy Reviews Progress of Three Critical Projects in Amhara Region

Addis Ababa  May 13/2024( ENA) Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed together with top federal officials have reviewed the progress of three critical projects in Amhara region to expedites their completion very fast.

“After my visit to the Amhara region this weekend, I brought together top federal leaders to review the progress and expedite the completion of three critical projects in Gonder: the Megech Dam, improving water supply in the city, and finishing the Azzezo to Gonder 11 Kilometers  road,” the premier shared  on X.

Following assessment early this morning, Prime Minister Abiy underscored that he has instructed adjustments in project management to accelerate their completion very fast.

 

Recently, members of Prosperity Party’s executive conducted the party's nine months performance review in Gorgora, in Amhara region as part of the national projects initiated by Prime Minister Abiy to unleash tourism potentials in Ethiopia.

Moreover, Abay Bridge in  Bahir Dar City was officially inaugurated yesterday in the presence of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed. 

The inauguration of the Abay Bridge is currently marking a significant step towards fostering stronger interpersonal connections as well as boosting trade opportunities.
