PM Abiy, First Lady Zinash Inaugurates New Low Cost Apartments

Addis Ababa, January 6/2024(ENA) Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and First Lady Zinash Tayachew inaugurated today the newest addition of low-cost housing in the Aware area built on a total area of 1523.3 meter square. 

The two G+11 apartments is constructed in a three month period through the sale of the Prime Minister’s ‘Generation Medemer’ book and the support of Ovid Construction Group.

 

The two apartments contain a total of 110 units of one, two and three bedroom varieties and 51 ground level stores, according to the Office of the Prime Minister.

 

In his remarks, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed called upon other private sector stakeholders to follow the lead of Ovid Construction Group in expressing goodwill and innovation for low cost housing schemes.

 

They are also fully outfitted with unique furnishing solutions that are fit for purpose and that consider adequate utilization of small spaces and a common area for baking injera and bread, community cooking area and washing area is also included.
