Austria Expresses Keenness to Strengthen Economic Cooperation with Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, November 28/2023 (ENA)The World Special Representative of the Austrian Chancellor, Peter Launsky-Tieffenthal, expressed his country’s keenness to cooperating with Ethiopia in areas such as mining, renewable energy, agriculture, animal husbandry, and poultry.

Ethiopia’s Foreign Affairs State Minister, Ambassador Mesganu Arga, met and held talks with the World Special Representative of the Austrian Chancellor, Peter Launsky-Tieffenthal, at his office today.

The discussion focused on bilateral ties, economic opportunities, and regional developments of mutual importance, according to the Foreign Affairs Ministry. 

On the occasion, Ambassador Mesganu said the Austrian Embassy in Addis Ababa plays a catalyzing role in sustaining the symbolic bilateral relations between the two countries. 

Peter Launsky-Tieffenthal expressed Austria’s long-term commitment to the relationship it has with Ethiopia and shared his keenness to cooperate in areas such as mining, renewable energy, agriculture, animal husbandry, and poultry.
