Prime Minister Abiy Confers With French President Emmanuel Macron  

Addis Ababa, November 21/2023 (ENA) Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has conferred with French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the Compact with Africa Summit.

"Pleased to meet my good brother President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the Compact with Africa Summit,'' PM Abiy said on his social media.  

 
Our strengthened relations and multifaceted cooperation continues to be anchored in trust and mutual interests for sustained development, he added.   
Prime Minister Abiy attended the Compact with Africa (CwA) Summit on Monday.
 

Launched under the German G20 Presidency in 2017, the G20 Compact with Africa (CwA) has become a platform for dialogue and cooperation between reform-oriented African countries, G20 partners and beyond.

The Prime Minister participated in a session focused on economic cooperation and enhancing private sector participation.
