Ethiopian Delegation Visits Djibouti Port, Terminal Activities

Addis Ababa, November 2/2023 (ENA)- A delegation led by Agriculture Minister Girma Amente has visited Djibouti’s port and terminal activities today.

The delegation consisting government officials visited the activities of Djibouti Doraleh Multipurpose Port and Doraleh Container Terminal.

Agriculture State Minister Sofia Kassa, Djibouti Infrastructure and Equipment Minister Hassen Humed Ibrahim, Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics CEO Beriso Amelo, Djibouti Port and Free Trade Zone Authority Chairman Aboubaker Omar visited the activities underway.    

During the occasion, explanations were made on the efforts being made to improve the service delivery process of Doraleh Multipurpose Port and Doraleh Container Terminal, and problems faced as well as measures that should be taken.

A delegation led by Agriculture Minister Girma Amente arrived in Djibouti last night to observe the process of transporting fertilizer.
