PM Abiy Confers with Foreign Affairs Minister of Rwanda

Addis Ababa August 11/2023(ENA):-Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed received Vincent Biruta, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda. 

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Rwanda is in Addis Ababa for a working visit in Ethiopia.

In continued diplomatic engagements, Prime Minister Abiy received  Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda, Vincent Biruta at his office this morning.

Ethiopia and Rwanda have forged solid and longstanding bilateral cooperation since they established diplomatic relations in late 1970s, with numerous bilateral cooperation agreements signed, spanning across various sectors, according to Office of the Prime Minister. 

Following their discussions, PM Abiy and Foreign Minister Biruta also planted Green Legacy seedlings within Unity Park.

Biruta will meet with senior government officials to boost longstanding, multifaceted Ethio-Rwandan cooperation in bilateral, regional, and multilateral venues.
