PM Abiy Visits Hyundai Motor Company

Addis Ababa ENA August 27/2019 Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, who is in South Korea for official visit, has conferred with the leadership of Korean giant Hyundai Motor Company to explore potential investments expansion in Ethiopia.

He has also discussed with steel making giant POSCO and explored the possibility of setting up steel works in Ethiopia to meet the current domestic demand in construction, on the top of job creations.

On other hand, the Premier has attended Ethio- Korean Business Forum organized by the Ethiopian Embassy in South Korea with the objective of promoting investments in Ethiopia.

Prime Minister Abiy shared various activities being undertaken by his administration to create conducive business environment for investments to thrive.

Mentioning the historic relations between the two countries, he called upon South Korean businesses to join "Ethiopia’s journey to prosperity".
