African Tourism Companies Exhibit Services in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa July 25/2019 Tourism companies from African countries held a workshop and exhibited their services at Skylight Hotel.

Houston Travel Marketing Services of South Africa and Ethiopia Tour Operators Association organized the event.

Houston Travel Marketing Services Owner, Derek Houston told ENA that the workshop and exhibition promote domestic and external tourism in Africa.

According to Houston, the exhibitors “are introducing their products and services to learn more about the tourism business in Ethiopia and Africa.”

On the margins of the workshop, Tourism Ethiopia demonstrated its pilot virtual reality tour for visitors.

Tourism Ethiopia Public Relations and Communication Director, Futsum Kassahun said “virtual reality tour enables travelers to visit with simulator the tourist destinations in the country and promote tourism in Ethiopia.”

The co-organizer of the event, Ethiopia Tour Operators Association, has over 185 tour and travel companies.
