Turkey’s Foundation Takes Over a School in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa July 4/2019 A school linked to the Fetullah Organization was handed over to the Turkish public education body in Ethiopia on Wednesday, Anadolu Agency disclosed.

The school, which recently  taken over by Maarif Foundation, provides all levels of education from kindergarten to high school and was established under the name so-called Rainbow Association.

Member of the Board of Trustees of the Maarif Foundation, Cihad Demirli, said "We hope that the school will be helpful for Ethiopia and the people of Harar."

The school, which situated in the Eastern Hararge Zone in Ethiopia, would facilitate a close people to people relation between Ethiopia and Turkey. He added.

It is to be recalled that after the defeated coup, Turkey established the Maarif Foundation to assume the administration of overseas schools linked to FETO. It also establishes schools and education centers abroad.
