President Sahlework to Visit Kenya

Addis ababa May 12/2018 President Sahlework Zewdie will pay an official visit to Kenya on Tuesday, according to Ethiopian Embassy in Kenya.

Ethiopian Ambassador to Kenya, Meles Alem, told ENA that the President will make a one day state visit to Kenya to discuss with President Uhuru Kenyata on bilateral and regional interests.

President Sahilework’s visit to Kenya will be the first since she assumed office of presidency.

The visit is expected to further tighten their half-century relations and cooperating on regional issues of common concerns.

Ethiopia and Kenya started diplomatic relation in 1954; the former opened its Embassy in Nairobi in 1965 and the later in 1967 in Addis Ababa.
