Renaissance of Ethiopia Inevitable, as Resurrection of Jesus is Imminent: PM Abiy

Addis Ababa April 27/2019 Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said that it is inevitable that Ethiopia will be a great and prosperous country again, though it needs to stay optimistic and see the light behind the darkness.
Ethiopian Christians are due to celebrate Easter, the resurrection of Jesus Christ tomorrow.
In his Easter message he conveyed to Ethiopian Christians, the Prime Minister relates the situation of Ethiopia with what happened between the crucifixion and ressurection of Jesus Christ.
Premier Abiy's statement reads that there are times that the country seems weak and disintegrated; however, the rise of the country is imminent, since it is impossible 'to burry Ethiopia'.
Abiy said perhaps the time of resurrection may be late, but it is inevitable. A lot of people had been talking about the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ on Good Friday; however, few were able to foresee the resurrection.
He said the same is true for Ethiopia, relating the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus with the situation in the country. People see the renaissance of Ethiopia even "during the times that it [Ethiopia] seems defeated, weakened, crucified and dead", he said.
The Premier said the country will pass the situation which he compares with the incidents in happened Good Friday.
Abiy said Ethiopia’s renaissance will be real though there are people who betrayed it as Judas, confused as Peter, frightened as most of the people and stand by it as John did.
However, when the resurrection comes, Abiy said 'those who confused will believe, the frightened will be soothed and all be united again'.
Saying resurrection begins with the crucifixion, Abiy said there are people who are optimistic about Ethiopia's renaissance and wait patiently, though people who are in frustration cannot see it.
The Premier who said he is sure of Ethiopia's renaissance said “We believe that there is joy after Himamat (suffering), happiness after agony, and we fight for it. ... This is Ethiopia that is going through Friday, defeats Saturday, rises again and wins again.”
