Italian Cooperation Agency Donates about 80,000 USD Lab Instruments

Addis Ababa April 02/2019 The Italian Agency for Development Cooperation handed over amino acid and fat analyzers worth about 80,000 USD to the Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI) today.

The instruments will help EPHI to identify the composition of amino acids in protein and determine the content of fat.

Of the twenty types of amino acids, the equipment identifies eighteen, it was learned.

Italian Agency for Development Cooperation is engaged in agriculture, health and industry in Ethiopia, it was learned.

The amino acid and fat analyzers are meant to strengthen the capacity of EPHI to contribute to solve the problem of nutrition in the country.
